Linea De Salida
‘Starting Line’ is a story about addiction, mental health, community, sport and friendship.
We follow our three main characters Enric, Mireia, and Toni as they begin their intensive rehabilitation through sport with their final goal being to run their first ever mountain half marathon. With each of them having different backstories, they find common ground and a community of friends in Sport2live, an association in Barcelona (Spain) that helps recovering addicts to stay sober by prescribing sport and creating a positive, safe social environment around them.

JOY, LA FIBRA DE LA FELECIDAD
Saray Meléndez experiences intense happiness through touch. Since childhood, she's been fascinated by textures, particularly fabrics. In this documentary, she describes how the feel of certain materials, like velvet or silk, triggers an indescribable sense of pleasure.

Léo, a 17-year-old high school student, has to present a poem for his French class. He chooses the delicate subject of inclusive language. When he presents it to his parents, a generational struggle unfolds in a heated debate.
EN EL FUEGO DEL SERVICIO
Ricard, a Catalan volunteer firefighter, juggles work, family, and firefighting duties. He criticizes the current system, highlighting challenges like balancing commitments and inadequate training and compensation for volunteers. Describing impactful experiences like fatal accidents, he emphasizes the need for better support, including psychological help and fair remuneration.
